The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1 to A6), seeking to quash the P.R.C.No.13 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Palamaner, wherein they were charged for the offences punishable under Sections 313, 498(A), 506 read with 109 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure,
1973. 2. No representation for the petitioners and respondent No.2. 3. Heard learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent No.1-State. 4.
On 16.03.2026, the matter was referred to mediation, and both parties were directed to appear before the mediator. 5. The mediation settlement agreement is placed on record. 6. As seen from mediator’s report, Ms. Koppaka Aruna, the learned mediator, submitted a report stating that the matter has been settled.
