Mr. Suryakant Maithani, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner is the 81 years old widow lady praying for the following reliefs:- “a. An appropriate order or direction in exercise of supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, for commanding the IP Additional District Judge. Dehradun to decide the Civil Appeal No. 161 of 2024, titled "Ritesh Babbar & Ors. v. Ashish Agarwal & Ors pending in court of the II Additional District Judge. Dehradun as expeditiously as possible under the facts and circumstances of the case and or within a definite period of time. b. Any other writ order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. с. Award cost of the petition to the Petitioner.” 3. The relief as sought for in this writ petition appears to be innocuous. 4. In such view of the matter, the instant writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the learned 2nd Additional District Judge, Dehradun to expedite the Civil Appeal No. 161 of 2024, “Ritesh Babbar and Others vs. 2026:UHC:2884 Ashish Agarwal and Others”, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.
