Jyotsna Rewal Dua, J Learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record a copy of office instructions dated 22.04.2026 and, on that basis, submitted that all retiral benefits due and admissible to the petitioner stand released in his favour, save and except the interest component on account of delayed payment. Learned counsel further submitted that the interest payment shall also be released in favour of the petitioner within three weeks from today, i.e. on or before 21.05.2026. In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to make payment of the admissible interest to the petitioner on or before 21.05.2026.
