Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, by the impugned transfer order dated 17.04.2026, the petitioner has been transferred from Nagar Panchayat Janakpur to Nagar Palika Parishad, Manendragarh. He further submits that the petitioner is JYOTI SHARMA Digitally signed by JYOTI SHARMA Date: 2026.09.10 11:29:43 +0530 2 due to retire on 30.04.2027 and is entitled to the protection under Para 1.6 of the Transfer Policy dated 05.06.2025. It is also submitted that the petitioner has already been appointed as Census Officer for Census-2027 and is undergoing the requisite training. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation, vide Annexure P-13 dated 16.06.2026, and prays that the same may be considered and decided. 2. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that if the representation of the petitioner is pending, the same may be considered and decided within a reasonable time, in accordance with law. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 4. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the petitioner's representation (Annexure P-13 dated 16.06.2026), in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible. 5.
