*** H.S. Grewal, J.(Oral) CRM-32250-2026 This application has been filed under Section 528 read with Section 483 of BNSS (erstwhile section 482 of Cr.P.C) praying for grant of interim regular bail to the petitioner for a period of three weeks.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mother of the petitioner is suffering from serious medical ailments and is in urgent need of proper medical treatment, doctor's supervision, and necessary diagnostic tests for further evaluation of her condition. He, therefore, prays that the petitioner be released on interim bail for a short period to enable him to take care of his ailing mother. Notice in the application. -2- of the petitioner's mother. He has filed the custody certificate in the Court today and the same is taken on record. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail for a period of six weeks, subject to his furnishing the requisite bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Illaqa Magistrate/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned. The period of interim bail shall commence from the date of his release. The learned trial Court is directed to ensure that the petitioner surrenders before the jail authorities upon completion of the period of interim bail. Main case:
