Heard Mr. Islam, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners and Mr. Pingal Bhattacharyya, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.8. In course of hearing, Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State authorities submits that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed inasmuch as necessary proceedings for revocation of the FPS licence of the respondent no.8 bearing FPS Code No.WB0343454446 and Licence No.34345423453 has already been initiated and the entire process for revocation of the FPS licence would be 2 completed preferably within a period of eight weeks. Let the memo dated 11th August, 2026, as placed, be kept on record. Copies of the same have been handed over to Mr. Islam and Mr. Pingal Bhattacharyya. In view thereof, no further interference is called for in the present writ petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
