For the State : Mr. Subodh Kumar Dubey, APP Order No.03/Dated- 25.03.2026 Heard learned Sr. counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. 2. The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No.197 of 2025 registered for offences under Sections 80(2), 61(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, which is pending in the Court of Learned Addl. Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge, M.P./M.L.A. The deceased has caught accidental fire on her body below the waist and all the family members have been dragged in this case. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial/investigation of the case and abide by all terms and conditions which may be imposed. Hence, the petitioner may be admitted to bail. 4. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 5. It appears from the post-mortem report of the deceased that death was due to ante-mortem injuries by hard and blunt substance and 2026:JHHC:8457 2 complications along with flame burnt. Deceased has died otherwise than under normal circumstance within seven years of marriage. There is an allegation of demand of dowry and torture meted out to the deceased, soon before her death. 6. In view of the above circumstances and direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 7. Accordingly, this Bail Application is rejected.
