The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities particularly the respondent No. 2 to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 24.06.2025 (Annexure P-9) PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 by which the petitioner prayed for his appointment on the post of Director Prosecution. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to give posting to the petitioner on the post of Director Prosecution as he is a proper and suitable person, who possessed all the eligibility criteria required for the said post. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem fit and appropriate.” 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner has already submitted representation raising his grievance as raised in this writ petition before the Respondent No. 2/ Additional Secretary, for his appointment on the post Director, Prosecution, vide Annexure P-9 dated 24.06.2025, which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State submits that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only seeking direction to take decision on the pending representation submitted by him, he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by the counsel for petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of 3 directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the pending representation of petitioner vide Annexure P-9 dated 24.06.2025, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of order passed by this Court. 6.
