Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that similarly placed accused person namely, Alok Shil was granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1587 of 2026. There has been no recovery from the present petitioner, as such petitioner may be released on bail.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that 22 Cartons containing 2640 bottles of Wincerex Cough Syrup has been recovered in the present case. There are call data records reflecting the association of the petitioner with the other accused persons at the relevant point of time.

Having considered the same, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner at this stage is rejected in CRM (NDPS) 1656 of 2026.
Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record.
