(Oral) The petitioner-Simarpreet Kaur, has filed the present petition, thereby making prayer for issuance of directions to official respondents, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members. It is submitted that at first instance, the complaint was filed by the petitioner, on the basis whereof, FIR was registered. However, in the said FIR, no action was taken by the police authorities. Thereupon, Harjit Singh, husband of the petitioner, had filed the representation dated 14.08.2026, copy whereof is Annexure P-2. However, no action has been initiated upon the same. Notice of motion. Ms. Jagriti Kalia, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents.
