JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following reliefs:- “a) To direct the Respondent No.1 and 2 Declare the petitioner as pass in 6th Semester B.Sc. b) To Correct the Revaluation Record and to reflect as Pass in accordance with the Provisional Decree Certification i.e. Annexure-C. c) Direct the Respondents to not to disturb or interrupt continuation of B.Ed course. d) Grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon’ble court may deems fit in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. When the matter came up before this Court on 10.12.2025, the following interim order was passed: “Though the matter was directed to be listed on 07.01.2026, it is at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is taken up today. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the last date for paying examination fees by the petitioner would expire on 11.12.2025 and the examinations are scheduled to - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010616892025 NC: 2026:KHC:41757 WP No. 28772 of 2025 commence from 25.12.2025 and as such, there is urgency in the matter. The said submission is placed on record. Re-list on 07.01.2026 at 02.30 P.M. for further hearing. In the meanwhile, by way of an interim arrangement and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties and by making it subject to the final outcome of the petition, petitioner is permitted to pay the examination fees and appear in the examinations scheduled to be conducted from 25.12.2025.” 3. Subsequently, on 07.01.2026, the following interim order was passed: Heard. Petitioner is permitted to take up B.Sc. 6th semester examination as and when the same is held. If petitioner takes up such examination, the respondent No.1 is directed to announce the results of the said B.Sc. 6th semester examination to be taken up by the petitioner. Re-list on 05.02.2026 at 02.30 P.M Till then, petitioner is permitted to continue to attend B.Ed classes. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010616892025 NC: 2026:KHC:41757 WP No. 28772 of 2025 It is needless to state that this interim arrangement is made in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the instant case and without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties and by making it subject to the final outcome of this petition. 4. Subsequently, on 05.02.2026, the following interim order was passed: “Since the petitioner has taken II semester B.Ed examination, the respondents are directed to announce the results of the said Examination as expeditiously as possible. It is further directed that in the event, the petitioner found to have been passed II semester B.Ed examination, the respondents shall promote the petitioner to III semester B.Ed.Course. List after Eight weeks.” 5. In pursuance of the order dated 07.01.2026, the petitioner took up B.Sc 6th Semester, which she has passed. 6. Under these circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition by issuing certain directions. Accordingly, I pass the following: - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010616892025 NC: 2026:KHC:41757 WP No. 28772 of 2025 ORDER i) The petition is hereby disposed of. ii) The respondents are directed to announce the results of 6th Semester B.Sc examination taken up by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. iii) In the event the petitioner has passed 6th semester B.Sc examination, respondents shall promote the petitioner to 3rd semester B.Ed course subject to the condition that the petitioner has passed 2nd semester B.Ed examination. iv) The respondents are directed to announce the results of B.Ed course of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
