JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI ORAL ORDER The petitioner filed this writ petition challenging Annexure-U, wherein respondent No.3 was appointed as Vice- Chancellor of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal, Fisheries Science University, Bidar, by virtue of impugned nonfiction 11.07.2022, for a period of 4 years from the date of assumption of the office of the Vice-Chancellor or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. 2. Due to passage of time, the tenure of respondent No.3 was ended on 22.07.2026. Subsequently again the notification was issued on 30.06.2026, wherein respondent No.3 has been appointed as in-charge of the post of Vice- Chancellor, with effect from afternoon of 22.07.2026 for a - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010404192023 NC: 2026:KHC:43289 WP No. 17291 of 2023 period of three (3) months or until a regular Vice-Chancellor is appointed or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 3. The petitioner has challenged Annexure-U. Due to passage of time, the writ petition has rendered infructuous. 4. In view of the same, the following order: ORDER (i) The writ petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous. (ii) Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file a writ petition, challenging Annexure-U, if so desired. (iii) All the contentions of the parties are kept open.
