THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents. 2. In this petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the representation dated 14th June, 2025 (Annexure-D series) for mutating the name of the petitioner in the Khatha in respect of the subject land. 3. Heard Sri. D.C. Narayana Swamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010465222025 NC: 2026:KHC:42592 WP NO.21659 OF 2025 4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, on perusal of the averments made in the writ petition, it is forthcoming that the petitioner is seeking change of Khata in respect of the subject land based on the registered Sale Deed dated 25th October, 1939 (Annexure-B). Therefore, as the aforesaid registered Sale Deed has been executed during the year-1939, I am of the view that the writ petition is not maintainable for the reason the petitioner is claiming right over the subject land, after a period of eight decades. In this regard, the petitioner has to establish his right over the subject land before the competent Civil Court. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed. SD/- (E.S.
