The petitioner is claiming the balance amount under a short term contract in respect of construction of certain part of the road and which the petitioner alleges to have completed on 23.10.2023. The case of the petitioner is that the work has been duly measured and recommendation has also been made by the concerned Assistant Engineer for payment of the balance amount but despite repeated representations the payment has not been released. 1 2026:UHC:2987-DB 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents be directed to take decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2025 (Annexure-6). 4. Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.3 to take decision on the representation dated 26.07.2025 (Annexure-6) within four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation dated 26.07.2025 and supporting evidence. 5.
