1. The defect(s) as pointed out by the Registry are overruled. 2. In the instant matter, it is contended by the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the issue involved in the present petition arises out of a contractual dispute. Reliance in regard of the aforesaid is placed upon the communication/letter dated 12.03.2026 (Annexure-3). It is
[2026:RJ-JP:15465] (2 of 2) [CW-6283/2026] submitted that in response to the said communication, a due and detailed reply was submitted on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent- Corporation vehemently opposed the present petition and has submitted that an adequate opportunity of hearing was duly afforded to the petitioner; however, no convincing or satisfactory reply came to be filed. 4. Having heard the rival submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, and without delving into the nitty-gritty or the merits of the dispute, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with specific directions to the respondent-Corporation. 5. Accordingly, the Area Sales Manager, Ajmer Sales Area, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Kota Retail Region, Ajmer (respondent No.3), or the concerned competent authority of the respondent-Corporation, is directed to afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner on 20.04.2026 at 11:00 A.M. The authority shall ensure strict compliance with the principles of natural justice and the audi alteram partem. The competent authority is further directed to adjudicate the matter and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of seven days from the date of such hearing. 6.
