1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Shruti Malviya, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 1,2 and 3. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the transfer order dated 18.04.2026, whereby he has been transferred from Gorakhpur Branch, Varanasi Zone (0068), to Sahajanwa Branch on the post of Senior Manager. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not challenging the transfer order on legal grounds, but on medical grounds, inasmuch as his medical/physical condition does not permit him to join his duties outside Gorakhpur city. It is, therefore, prayed that, on sympathetic consideration, the petitioner may be permitted to continue at Gorakhpur city, if not in the same branch, then in some other branch within the city. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent-Bank submits that the present petitioner has been transferred on account of administrative exigencies by the general transfer order dated 10.04.2026, whereby several officers were proposed to the transferred from their respective place of posting. It is further submitted that although the petitioner has made a representation against his transfer order; he has failed to furnish relevant documents in support of his representation. 4. In the conspectus of the facts noted above, this Court is of the considered opinion that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the instant petition pending. expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, with a direction that the petitioner shall be at liberty to submit a fresh representation along with the certified copy of this order as well as a self attested copy of the instant writ petition, before the Zonal Manager, Varanasi (respondent no. 1), ventilating his grievance as raised in the present writ petition. Upon receipt of the said representation, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of aforementioned representation. 5. It is further provided that the petitioner shall appear before the Zonal Manager, Varanasi (respondent no.
1) on 11.05.2026 and submit a detailed representation/objection supported by relevant documents, if any. Upon receipt of the same, respondent no. 1 shall consider and decide the said representation sympathetically within stipulated period as above. 6. The transfer order dated 18.04.2026 shall remain subject to the final outcome of the representation made by the present petitioner, as indicated above.
