By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a limited prayer for a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide his pending representation dated 17.08.2026 (Annexure P/3), submitted before respondent No.2, in accordance with law. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was initially posted as Lecturer at Village Chhindkalo, Block Ambikapur, District Surguja. He submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 17.08.2026 (Annexure P/3) seeking transfer/posting at a suitable place in or around Ambikapur, District Surguja, on account of the serious medical condition of his 74-year-old mother, who is suffering from paralysis, is bedridden and completely dependent upon the petitioner for her day-to-day care and assistance. He further submits that despite the petitioner having placed the aforesaid circumstances and relevant medical documents before the competent authority, his representation has not been considered or decided till date. He, therefore, prays for a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation within a stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel appearing for respondents/ State submits that if the representation submitted by the petitioner is still pending consideration, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law. 3 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings as well as the documents appended with the writ petition. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into account the submission made by learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide his pending representation dated 17.08.2026 (Annexure P/3), in accordance with law, as early as possible. 6.
