1. The appellant is not represented even online today, despite service. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.
2. CAN 3 of 2026 has been filed seeking modification of the observations of this Court’s order dated 8th May, 2026 in paragraph 13.
3. It is submitted by the Counsel for the applicant that M/s. Exide Industries Limited or its Trust does not have any records whatsoever of the appellant including his Provident Fund number after a lapse of 39 years. Even the Provident Fund Authorities do not have any such records, in view of the long 39 years.
4. It is submitted by Mr. De, learned Senior Advocate for the applicant that this Court’s order dated 8th May, 2026 has been complied with in its entirety by his client.

5. This Court is inclined to accept the stand of M/s. Exide Industries Limited and their Trust Funds. It is difficult for any private body or statutory trust to maintain the records of an employee, worked for a period of one and half years and that too 39 years after he left the employment.
6. The applicant, namely, M/s. Exide Industries Limited and their Trust will, therefore, not be liable to furnish any particulars to the appellant. The order dated 8th May, 2026 shall stand modified accordingly.
7. With the aforesaid observations, CAN 3 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of.
8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
