JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the order dated 28.01.2025, produced at Annexure-G, passed by respondent No. 1, inter-alia, sought a direction to respondent-authorities to cancel the order dated 28.01.2025, produced at Annexure-G, passed by respondent No. 1. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010372402025 NC: 2026:KHC:43847 WP No. 17258 of 2025 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon careful consideration of the impugned order at Annexure-G, it is evident that the father of the petitioner had sold the subject land in favour of the private respondents under a registered Sale Deed dated 04.09.1972. 4. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the aforesaid registered Sale Deed, I am of the opinion that the revenue authorities have no jurisdiction to adjudicate upon or interfere with the civil rights of the parties. The mutation entry has been effected in terms of the registered Sale Deed dated 04.09.1972, in accordance with Section 128 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. 5. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court seeking appropriate relief in respect of the property in - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010372402025 NC: 2026:KHC:43847 WP No. 17258 of 2025 question. Thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent-authorities for modification of the revenue entries, subject to the outcome of the civil proceedings.
