This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6 and not to harass and implicate the petitioners in any false criminal case and also directing the official respondents to decide the representation dated 13.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners.

It is the case of the petitioners that they are in a live-in- relationship. The private respondents are not accepting the said relationship and are extending threats to them. The copy of ‘Aadhaar’ cards (Annexures YAG DUTT 2026.08.01 10:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this
order/judgment.

Without commenting upon the validity of the relationship, and further keeping in view the law laid down by a Division Bench in Yash Pal and another Versus State of Haryana and others (CRWP No.4660 of 2021, decided on 09.09.2024), the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 13.07.2026 (Annexure P-3) and take requisite action, if so warranted, as per the facts and circumstances of the matter in accordance with law.
