Ms. Asmi, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. Sandeep Sharma and Mr. Himanshu Sain, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. The petitioners Smt. Sakshi Malik and Rahul Tyagi are praying for adequate protection since the private respondents herein-the family members of petitioner no. 1 are against the marriage of petitioner nos. 1 and 2, who recently married on 12.02.2026 at Shiv Mandir, Dehradun, and their marriage was registered on 25.03.2026. The marriage registration certificate is enclosed at page-34. There is no dispute on their age. 4. Both the parties appear through V.C. and the petitioner no. 1 apprise to this court that as on date there is no any such threat as pointed out in the representation made to the S.H.O., however, her family members are not accepting their marriage. It is a second marriage of petitioner no. 1 with the petitioner no. 2 after divorce with the first husband. 5. In such view of the matter, let the S.H.O. of P.S. Nehru Colony the respondent no. 3 shall call upon the respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 in the presence of the petitioners and advise them to accept their marriage or otherwise not to take law in their hands. After interaction if the S.H.O. comes to the conclusion that there is any threat perception take appropriate steps in this regard. The S.H.O. take assistance of some lady officials and shall call upon the petitioners on 22.04.2026 at 11:00 AM and thereafter they also call upon the private respondents and then interact with each of them and then take appropriate steps. 6.
