B/112D/H/16/2, Dr. Suresh Chandra Banerjee Road, Ward No.33, Kolkata – 700010 and failure on the part of the municipal authorities to take steps, the instant writ petition has been filed. Both the State and the municipality are represented. 2. Learned advocate for the State has placed before this Court a report alongwith a notice issued under section 401 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 pertaining to the aforesaid premises. 2 3. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and noting that the municipal authorities have already taken steps in the matter, I am of the view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition in the file. 4. Accordingly, the writ petitioner is disposed of by directing the municipal authorities to take steps and bring the matter to its logical conclusion on an expeditious basis. 5.
