“10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire record from the respondent authorities. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly pleased to direct the respondent No. 02/Collector Bilaspur (C.G.) may be taken appropriate step upon the complaint made by petitioners dated 08.07.2026 (Annexure P/1) whereby direct to the respondent No. 03/Nayab Tahsidlar Bodri be initiate the mutation proceedings upon the petitioners application dated 30.06.2026 and entire proceedings may be completed within Stipulate period of time, which submitted by petitioner’s for mutation of their ancestral property. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly pleased to direct the respondent No. 03/Nayab Tahsildar Bodri, District-Bilaspur (C.G.) may be taken appropriate step upon the petitioners application dated 30.06.2026 (Annexure P/3) whereby initiate the mutation proceedings and same may be completed within Stipulate period of time. 10.4 Any other relief, which may be deemed, fit by this Hon’ble Court just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be provided in favour of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that, having regard to the nature of the grievance raised in the present petition, the petitioners are restricting their prayer to a limited extent and seek a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the complaint submitted by the petitioners on 08.07.2026, in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. It is further
3 submitted that the petitioners do not press the other reliefs sought in the petition at this stage and would be satisfied if the aforesaid complaint is considered and decided by the competent authority after affording due opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that there is no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties, upon perusal of the record and considering the submissions made and the limited prayer pressed by learned counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent respondent authority to consider and decide the complaint submitted by the petitioner on 08.07.2026, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, after affording due and effective opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to the person against whom the complaint has been made. The aforesaid exercise shall be undertaken expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the complaint, and the competent authority shall take a decision independently and strictly in accordance with law.
5. The default as pointed out by the Registry is hereby overruled.
6. No order as to cost(s).
