Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. The petitioner claims that by virtue of the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.615 of 1998 and E.P.No.155 of 1999, he became the absolute owner of the subject property. In view of the same, the petitioner claims that entries morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, which are reflected in the encumbrance certificate, have to be removed. He had given a representation on 30.01.2026 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with Page No.2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.11776 of 2026 law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation, dated 30.01.2026 seeking removal of the entries morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition from the encumbrance certificate for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, which includes the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.615 of 1998 and E.P.No.155 of 1999, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
