Baishya, learned Additional PP for the State. Page No.# 2/3 2. The learned counsel fairly submits that an earlier bail petition was rejected on 09.01.2026 passed in AB/68/2026. 3. By this petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioners, namely, (i) Jiyar Rahman (ii) Abdul Mannan Sk @ Mannaf Ali (iii) Kasuruddin Sheikh @ Md. Kasuruddin Sheikh (iv) Anowar Hussain @ Anowar Hussain, have prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 290/2025 (GR Case No. 545/2025) under Section 310(4) of BNS, 2023. 4. The FIR was lodged by a police official from Bongaigaon P.S. on 13.11.25 with the allegation that from reliable source, information was received about the present petitioners and others making preparations for highway dacoity. Subsequently, a search was conducted in their residence and also in the presence of witnesses, a mobile phone, walkie talkie of Baofeng company, one jacket olive color green jacket and three khakish T-shirts having Assam Police written on it were recovered from their premises. 5. Updated case diary is received again along with the fresh bail objection. 6. I have perused the grounds of rejection narrated in the order dated 09.01.2026. 7. Seen the endorsement and noting in the case diary after the date of last rejection. Investigation is still under progress and not yet complete. In the circumstances, I am unable to find sufficient new grounds to take a different view in this subsequent pre-arrest bail application. 8.
