Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner has retired on 31.01.2024 from the post of Deputy Librarian in G.B. Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology (respondent no.2 herein). He is claiming revised pay-scale w.e.f. 01.01.2006 under Career Advancement Scheme of AICTE as applicable to teaching staff w.e.f. 01.01.2009 (after completion of three years of service). 3. The representations filed by the petitioner in this behalf before the respondent – institute from time to time are stated to be pending. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent-institute be directed to take decision on the pending representations. 1 2026:UHC:2701-DB 5. Learned counsel for the respondent-institute has no objection to the same. 6. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with copy of the instant order within two weeks from today and the same shall be decided by the competent authority / respondent-institute within a further period of eight weeks strictly in accordance with law. 7.
