The Court: Learned Counsel for the parties submit that the matter has been settled between the parties. The respondents had paid a sum of Rs.4 lakhs earlier and a cheque for a further sum of Rs.1 lakh has been given to the petitioners towards full and final settlement of all their claims. The said cheque is to be encashed in the month of October, 2026.

Learned Counsel for the respondents undertakes that the said cheque issued in favour of the petitioners will be honoured and that no default shall occur in regard to the said cheque. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the parties undertake to abide by the terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 27th May, 2026. In light of the aforesaid settlement and the fact that the matter stands settled between the parties, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. The present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the above.
