On 06.04.2026, the following order was passed:- “The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the impugned order dated 05.12.2025 (Annexure P-2) passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar in FIR No.108 dated 05.10.2019 registered under Sections 109, 115(2), 117(2), 126(2), 191(3), 190, 140, 62, 351(3) of BNS 2023 registered at Police Station Division No.2, Jalandhar District Jalandhar whereby non bailable warrants of the petitioner have been issued by cancelling his bail bonds/surety bonds. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on account of medical ailment, the petitioner was unable to appear on 05.12.2025 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings once again. Notice of motion for 14.05.2026. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Punjab KUSUM 2026.07.30 14:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh CRM-M-17495-2026 (O&M) -2- and Haryana High Court Employees Welfare Association, A/c No.37167209613, State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Chandigarh, IFSC Code:SBIN0050306, he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. A copy of the receipt depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- with the aforesaid Association as well as a copy of the order granting interim bail to the petitioner be produced in the Court on the next date of hearing.” 2. Thereafter, on 14.05.2026, the following order was passed:- “CRM-20318-2026 The prayer in the present application under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for modification/extension of time to surrender before the Trial Court in terms of the order dated 06.04.2026 passed by this Court. Heard. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and the applicant/appellant is granted one week more time from today to surrender before the Trial Court in terms of the order dated 06.04.2026. The application stands disposed of. CRM-M-17495-2026 (O&M) Adjourned to 28.07.2026.” 3. Despite the passing of the aforementioned orders, the petitioner has not surrendered before the Trial Court. 4. In view of the above, the present petition seeking quashing of the order dated 05.12.2025 (Annexure P-2) passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, stands dismissed. 5. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
