This contempt petition under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 has been preferred by the applicant alleging non-compliance with the order dated 6-8-2025 (Annexure C-1) passed in CRMP No. 1024/2022. 2 2. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that, although FIR No. 0876/2021 registered at Police Station City Kotwali, Baloda Bazar against the applicant has been quashed by this Court vide order dated 6-8-2025, the name of the applicant has not been deleted from the Jarayam and Gramin Apradh Pustika maintained at Police Station City Kotwali, Balodabazar. 3. On the other hand, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that a note to this effect has already been appended in the Gramin Apradh Pustika and Jarayam maintained at Police Station City Kotwali, Balodabazar. He further submits that the name of the applicant shall be deleted from the Gramin Apradh Pustika and Jarayam within two weeks from today by striking off the same in red ink and making an endorsement to that effect, as is done in Court proceedings. 4. In view of the aforesaid undertaking given by learned Senior Advocate appearing for the respondents, the contempt proceedings are dropped and the instant contempt petition is disposed of. 5. The rule issued to the respondents is discharged. 6. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
