Heard Mr. N. Mahajan, learned counsel appearing for the accused applicant and Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by
Page No.# 2/3 the petitioner, namely, Pulak Ranjan Kalita, seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Bhangagarh P.S Case No. 185/2025 registered under Section 61(2)/318(4)/336(3)/340(2)/ 341(4)/316(5) of BNS,2023. 3. The allegation, as reflected in the FIR, is that on 18.09.2025, the informant lodged an FIR before the Officer-in-Charge of Bhangagarh Police Station, alleging, inter alia, that he is working as the In-Charge at United India Insurance Co. Ltd., Guwahati Regional Office. The informant alleged that someone had forged his official signature on a claim exposure note submitted before the Hon'ble MACT, Kamrup-1, on 13.09.2025. He has raised suspicion against one Abhishek Bhattacharyya, AM, who works in the same department, for being involved in the said forgery. Hence, the case was registered. 4. A coordinate bench of this Court, on 27.11.2025, granted the privilege of interim pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) with one surety of the like amount along with certain conditions outlined in the order. 5. Mr. N. Mahajan, learned counsel for the accused applicant, submits that, in compliance with the interim pre-arrest bail, the accused applicant has already appeared before the investigating officer and has had his statement recorded. 6. Mr. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, has confirmed that the accused applicant has indeed appeared before the investigating officer and his statement has been recorded. 7. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is of the opinion that the interim pre- arrest bail granted to the accused applicant should be made absolute.
Accordingly, the interim pre-arrest bail granted to the accused applicant on 27.11.2025 is hereby made absolute, with the conditions stated in the
