1. Mr. Abhyuday Tripathi, learned counsel for the appellant, is stated to be on adjustment. However, considering that the matter is an old one and that Mr. Vedant Sadangi, learned counsel, whose name also appears in the cause-list on behalf of the appellant, is present along with Mr. Mateen Siddiqui, learned Senior Advocate, Mr. Sadangi is permitted to argue the matter. 2. We have heard Mr. Mateen Siddiqui, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Vedant Sadangi, learned counsel for the appellant as well as Mr. Sumit Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, appearing for the respondents/State. 3.
The present writ appeal has been preferred against the order dated 28.04.2026 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition (S) No. 3163 of 2022 (Aparna Arya & Others Vs. State of Chhattisgarh & Others), whereby the writ petition filed by the writ petitioners / respondent Nos. 5 to 7 herein was disposed of by setting aside the order dated 18.11.2021 passed by respondent No. 2. Liberty was granted to
3 the writ petitioners to make a fresh representation before respondent No. 2, who, in turn, was directed to reconsider the claim their claim with regard to their seniority in the gradation list within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed in the writ petition. 4. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the appellant wants to withdraw the instant petition
