By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs : 10.1 issue notices to the respondents returnable within early date of hearing. 10.2 direct the respondent No. 2 to enquire the matter in a fair manner and to pay damages to the petitioner amounting Rs. 50 lacs. 3 10.3 direct the respondent No. 2 to consider and decide the representation moved by the petitioner within stipulated period in accordance with law. 10.4 grant any other relief(s)/ order(s) / direction(s) in favour of petitioner, which deemed fit & proper in the facts & circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice. 10.5 Cost of the petition. 3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner makes a limited a prayer to dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner regarding the damages of Rs.50 Lakhs suffered by him, in accordance with law. 4. The aforesaid prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by learned counsel for the State. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent authorities to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order. Ordered accordingly. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The respondent authorities shall consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law on its own merits. 7.
