Petitioner who is the resident of Aladhalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Hosadurga Taluk, Chitradurga District is before this Court being aggrieved by the official memorandum dated 01.06.2022 as per Annexure-A issued by the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, in terms of which, the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner has opined that in the said village there are about 306 Cattles and about 93.38 acres of grazing land being available and a portion of the said land could be utilized for the purpose of formation of residential accommodation under Ashraya scheme. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the finding and conclusion arrived by the respondent No.2- - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010086162023 NC: 2026:KHC:42905 WP No. 3897 of 2023 Deputy Commissioner is erroneous, inasmuch as, respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner has taken into consideration the Animal Census which was conducted during the year, 2019. Whereas, the Census conducted during the year 2022 indicates substantial increase in the number of Cattles to 618, which is almost twice the number taken by the respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner. Therefore, he seeks direction to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner to reconsider the decision arrived at as found at Annexure-A, taking into consideration the latest Animal Census. 3. Learned HCGP, on the other hand submits that given sometime, the matter will be reconsidered and appropriate orders in this regard would be passed. 4. Submissions is placed on record. 5. Petition is disposed of. 6. The respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner to reconsider the matter taking into consideration the latest Animal Census.
