Mr. SMT Chistie, standing counsel for the respondent has produced Page No.# 2/2 a communication dated 16.12.2025. The communication reflects that pursuant to appointment of the petitioner in terms of the judgment and order dated 07.02.2024 passed in WP(C) 4572/2024, Ex-Post facto approval was granted to accommodate the petitioner against sanction vacant post. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the judgment in question dated 07.02.2024 passed in WP(C) 4572/2024, petitioner’s service was supposed to be regularized with effect from his original date of appointment on compassionate ground and he ought to have been paid the arrears of salary. 3. In the opinion of this court, such argument cannot be expended in this contempt proceeding in the face of the order dated 07.02.2024 (supra). Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. 4. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to raise all those grievances as argued today before appropriate forum/ court, if so desires.
