This MCC is filed for restoration of WPS No. 5082/2026, which came to be dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 05.08.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that, due to inadvertence and oversight, learned counsel for the petitioner could not appear when WPS No. 5082/2026 was called for hearing and, consequently, the writ petition came to be dismissed for want of prosecution. It is submitted that the non-appearance of learned counsel was neither intentional nor deliberate, but was purely inadvertent and unintentional. It is, therefore, prayed that WPS No. 5082/2026 may kindly be restored to its original number. 3. I have heard learned counsel for the applicant and perused the material available on record. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the explanation furnished by the applicant, this Court is satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for restoration of WPS No. 5082/2026. The non-appearance of 3 learned counsel appears to be bona fide, inadvertent and unintentional. 5. Accordingly, this MCC is allowed.
