By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner has called in question the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not concluding the demarcation proceedings in respect of his YOGESH TIWARI Digitally signed by YOGESH TIWARI Date: 2026.09.03 15:34:53 +0530 2 land, pursuant to his application dated 10.02.2026 and seeks for the following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/ writs/order/direction to the respondent authorities to conclude the demarcation proceeding in light of the Schedule of Act 2011. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/ writs/order/direction to the respondent no. 3 to conclude the demarcation proceeding of petitioner's land within a period of 30 days. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem fit.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that the petitioner has a limited prayer in the present petition, namely, that his application for demarcation dated 10.02.2026, which has remained pending before the competent authority since then, may kindly be directed to be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 3. Learned State counsel appearing for the respondent authorities has no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and submits that the competent authority shall consider and decide the petitioner's pending application for demarcation expeditiously, in accordance with the applicable provisions of law. 3 4. Having considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and having regard to the limited nature of the prayer made in the present writ petition, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the same with a direction to the competent respondent authority to consider and decide the petitioner's application for demarcation dated 10.02.2026, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, and the competent authority shall consider the application independently and take an appropriate decision strictly in accordance with law. 6.
