The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 03.11.2025 passed in WPC No. 5713 of 2025, whereby this Court had directed the respondent authorities to take necessary steps for conducting the elections of the societies in accordance with law. On the last date of hearing, one week's time was granted to the respondents to inform this Court as to the time likely to be required for conclusion of the audit of the two newly recognized societies. 3. Pursuant to the said order, respondent No. 2 has filed her affidavit on 30.08.2026, wherein it has been stated that the audit of both the societies has already been completed by the auditor and the information in this regard has been communicated to the DCCB, Janjgir and Shivrinarayan Branch. It has further been stated that necessary steps have also been taken for division and distribution of the assets and liabilities of the reorganized primary societies and the newly formed primary societies. In paragraph 9 of the affidavit, it has been stated that respondent No. 2 has directed respondent No. 3 to submit the proposal and voter list within two days. 4. In view of the aforesaid affidavit, it appears that the order dated 03.11.2025 passed by this Court in WPC No. 5713 of 2025 has been complied with and necessary steps have been taken by the respondent authorities for conducting the elections. 5. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt proceedings.
