Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are no specific allegations against the petitioner of having been armed with any particular weapon or of having caused any injury to any person. It is argued that petitioner has been roped in the present case, merely on the basis of hearsay information provided by a secret informer, on the basis of which FIR has been registered by the police. It is further contended that during investigation, no statement of any resident of the village has been recorded, and therefore, the allegations are false and baseless. It is also submitted that petitioner is ready to join the investigation, provided he is granted protection from arrest. Thus, counsel prays for grant of concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the present case. 4. Notice of motion.
