Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide orders dated 01.09.2025 and 05.09.2025 the petitioner was required to submit the following documents:- (i) Latest KYC documents (Proof of Identity and Proof of Address). (ii) Valid income proof (e.g., salary slips, bank statements, ITR, etc.) (iii) Declaration and documentation regarding the source of funds credited in the disputed transaction(s).
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he may be granted liberty to submit the aforesaid documents with
[2026:RJ-JP:10997] (2 of 2) [CW-740/2026] the Bank and that the Bank be directed to consider the same in a time bound manner and take a decision with regard to de-freezing the bank account of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the respondents has not disputed the said submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit the documents as required by the respondent-Bank vide letters dated 01.09.2025 and 05.09.2025 within a period of 10 days from today and in the event of the said documents being submitted, the Bank is directed to take a decision in a time bound manner, preferably within a period of 15 days thereafter, after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. With the said directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
