Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Counsel for the applicants submits that C.A.No.789/2004 was before the CPC on 04.08.2026, and the evidence was closed. A request was made to the Registrar (CPC) to cross examine PW1. However, the Registrar (CPC), closed the evidence and put up the file before the Court for consideration. Hence, an application in C.A.No.225/2026 is filed seeking the relief to cross examine PW1 in C.A.No.789/2004. Counsel for the Official Liquidator submits that an appropriate order may be passed. 4. Taking note of the reasons assigned in the application, the application No.225/2026 is allowed and ordered accordingly. The matter is sent to CPC for cross examination of PW1 in C.A.No.789/2004.
