2 application for grant of compassionate appointment dated 06/12/2023, 27/11/2024 and 21/07/2026, which are pending before the respondent No.3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner was working under the respondent No.3 and 4 and died in harness on 15/11/2023. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted applications dated 06/12/2023, 27/11/2024 and 21/07/2026 with all related documents before the respondents authorities seeking appointment on compassionate ground.
Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner repeatedly approached the respondent authorities to consider his applications, but no action has been taken till date.
3. Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner's application is still pending
consideration, the same will be decided and an appropriate
order will be passed within a period of 45 days.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and documents available on record.

Considering the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment dated 06/12/2023, 27/11/2024 and 21/07/2026, by passing a
3 reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
