THIS APPEAL IS COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK-ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED: CONCILIATION ORDER 1. Learned Counsel appearing for the appellant/claimant is present. Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.2/ Insurance Company along with its representative are also present. 2. After detailed negotiations, the matter has been settled between the parties. A Joint Memo signed by the learned Advocate appearing for the appellant/claimant (being authorized by the appellant/claimant to sign) and the learned Advocate appearing for respondent No.2/Insurance Company and an 3 authorized officer has been filed. The appellant/claimant has agreed to receive, and respondent No.2/Insurance Company has agreed to pay a lump-sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand), in addition to what has been awarded by the learned Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim. 3. The Respondent No.2/Insurance Company has agreed to deposit the said amount before the learned Tribunal within six weeks from the date of preparation of award, failing which the said amount shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default, till the date of deposit. 4. On such deposit by the respondent No.2/Insurance Company, the additional amount of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand) shall be kept in an interest-bearing Fixed Deposit Account in any Nationalised Bank, in the name of a minor Girl Ms.Vinutha R., through her natural guardian/father, till she attains majority with an auto renewal clause. 5. This Miscellaneous First Appeal stands disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo. The Judgment and Award of the learned 4 Tribunal shall stand modified accordingly and shall be communicated to the learned Tribunal for appropriate action at the earliest.
