JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA O R D E R 20-05-2026 Heard Mr. Ch. Robinchandra, learned counsel for the applicant/writ petitioner in MC(WP(C)) No. 280 of 2026. By the present application, the applicant/writ petitioner prays for impleading the Mayor of Imphal Municipal Corporation as respondent No. 5 as he is one of the necessary parties in considering the accompanying writ petition. Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel for IMC and Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, submit that this Court may pass appropriate order. Accordingly, MC(WP(C)) No. 280 of 2026 is allowed and the Mayor of Imphal Municipal Corporation is impleaded as respondent No. 5 in WP(C) No. 189 of 2026 and the connected application, i.e. MC(WP(C)) No. 232 of 2026. Registry is directed to make necessary incorporation in the files and the petitioner is directed to file amended memo of parties physically as well as online. Issue notice to newly impleaded respondent No. 5. Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel, accepts notice on his behalf and prays for three weeks’ time for filing counter affidavit, if any.
