The petitioner's claim is for Rs.24,90,820/- to be paid along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from 31.03.2024. The petitioner has caused notice dated 30.09.2024 inter alia nominating a sole arbitrator. The respondent has not issued any reply. The respondent also remains absent in the petitioner present proceedings. Ms. Anisha A. Aatresh, the learned counsel for the petitioner, is heard in these circumstances and a retired Senior Civil Judge could be appointed as a sole arbitrator.
