JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: “a) To declare that, the Petitioner has continued his services in the office of the Respondent No.1 and retired from service on completion of 60 years of age - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18679 WP No. 30709 of 2025 as per the Govt. Order No. ಆಸುಇ-44ೇ  2008, ೆಂಗಳರು by which the retirement age of the Government employees, employees working in local bodies and aided educational institutions was enhanced from 58 to 60 years vide Annexure-A dated 28.07.2008 and consequently, the Petitioner is entitled for salary, leave encashment and all other service and monetary benefits with interest as the retirement age was enhanced stated supra issued by the Government of Karnataka, in accordance with law, b) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner vide Annexures-E & F dated 30/01/2024 and 23/09/2024, respectively. c) Pass any other suitable order or direction as this Court deems fit to pass in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondent No.2 and learned counsel for respondent No.1 and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her representations dated 30.01.2024 and 23.09.2024 at Annexures -E and F submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18679 WP No. 30709 of 2025 by respondents nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioners are before this Court by way of present petition. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, the respondents would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider her representations dated 30.01.2024 and 23.09.2024 at Annexures -E and F and pass appropriate order bearing in mind Annexures - A to D and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
