Heard Mr.M.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Gowri Shankar, learned Senior Standing Counsel who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. The case of the petitioner is that he was employed abroad and upon his return to India, he was carrying a gold ornament weighing approximately 90.50 grams. According to the petitioner, the gold ornament has been seized solely on the ground of non-declaration. Therefore, the petitioner had made a representation dated 02.06.2026, seeking the return of the gold ornament, however, the same has not been considered to date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. When the matter came up for hearing, learned Senior Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the representation dated 02.06.2026, will be considered in accordance with law, if appropriate time is granted. 5. In view thereof, this writ petition is ordered on the following terms:- i.
