ORAL ORDER
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter for sometime submits that this petition may be dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the Trial Court and file necessary application seeking regular bail. He submits that considering the fact that the petitioner was earlier granted regular bail in the present case by this Court, the Trial Court may be directed to consider the regular bail application of the petitioner and dispose of the same on the very same day.
2. However, learned HCGP appearing for the respondent brings to the notice of this Court that the petitioner is a person with criminal antecedents and he has five other

criminal cases. In the present case, the petitioner is absconding for a considerable period of time.
3. Submission made by the learned counsel on both sides is placed on record.
4. Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for.
5. In the event the petitioner surrenders before the Trial Court and files necessary application seeking regular bail, the Trial Court shall consider and dispose of the application, as expeditiously as possible.
