Mahto, Advocate ---- 2/22.01.2026 Heard learned counsels for petitioners and for State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chandil (Kapali) P.S. Case No.178 of 2025, for offence registered under section 126(2), 127(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 303(2), 352, 351,(3), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned SDJM, Chandil. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the altercation took place on the day of Chhat Puja when the horn was being pressed repeatedly by the petitioners side upon the informant. He further submits that there are case and counter case between the parties and a good sense has prevailed between both the parties and both the parties have compromised the matter and the compromise petition has been filed which is at page no.31 and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.18 of the petition. 2026:JHHC:1749 2 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the allegation of altercation is there against the petitioners. 5. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the compromise has been taken place. 6. Considering that only allegation is made that altercation took place when the petitioners’ side pressed horn of the car repeatedly and both the sides have compromised the matter and the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.18 of the petitioners and the compromise petition has been filed in the petition, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioners. 7. Accordingly, both the petitioners, above named, are hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of their surrender/arrest, both the petitioners, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned SDJM, Chandil, in connection with Chandil (Kapali) P.S. Case No.178 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. ( Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) 22.01.2026 SI/
