ORAL ORDER Petitioner - accused No.4 is before the Court calling in question registration of a crime in Crime No.89/2026, which is registered on 09.06.2026. Even before the ink on the crime could dry, the petitioner is before the Court.

learned counsel for petitioner and Sri B.N.Jagadeesha, learned State Public Prosecutor – 1 along with Smt Rashmi Patel, learned High Court Government Pleader for respondent No.1.

3. Learned State Public Prosecutor - 1 submits that the fulcrum of the case is gross. The petitioner who is a Branch Manager of L&T Finance Limited. The finance company having lent the money, has immediately followed up for return of the money. Being frustrated, the father kills his wife and son and the father dies by hanging himself. The axe of abetment has now fallen on the present petitioner for having pestered for returning of money from the hands of the said deceased persons. Therefore, he submits that there can be no question of interdicting the proceedings immediately after the crime is registered, which is not even a month old.
4. In the light of the submissions of the learned State Public Prosecutor – 1, investigation shall ensue. The petitioner is at liberty to knock at the doors of this Court in the event, the final report that would be filed by the police after investigation is against the petitioner.
5. With the aforesaid observation and reserving liberty to the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed.
