No. 7197 of 2026 The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 318(4) of BNS, in Crime No.20 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks interstate anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons has committed misappropriation of funds in the name of some trust. Hence the case. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has nothing to do with the aforesaid alleged offence and a false case has been foisted against him. There is no specific role played by the petitioner. The petitioner is now taking steps to file anticipatory bail before the Court at Uttar Pradesh. Hence, prayed to grant inter state anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. Though notice served to the second respondent, there is no representation. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the nature of offences and the petitioner has to take steps for bail and he has to go to Uttar Pradesh, this Court is inclined to grant inter- state interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner for a period of six weeks to enable him to move the concerned Court. 6. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of six weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, Maduari District within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within four weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent Court and seek appropriate relief.
